About Evening Shade
Evening Shade RV Park is a family-run, full-hookup RV and travel trailer park tucked along Highway U just south of Clinton, Missouri. We built this park for people who value a quiet night's sleep, a clean and level site, and a host who actually knows your name.
Whether you're passing through on a cross-country trip, staying for a week while you explore the area, or settling in for the season, we treat every guest like they're part of the community. No rush, no pressure — just a good site, clear skies, and a warm welcome.
What's Included
We keep it simple: a clean, level pad with all the utilities you need, in a setting that's quiet and respectful of the countryside. No clutter, no surprises — just a great place to park and stay.
Full electrical hookups available in both 30 and 50 amp configurations. Your RV stays powered without worry.
Clean, pressurized water at every site. Just plug in and go — no hauling tanks or filling jugs.
Direct sewer connections at each site. A clean and convenient setup that makes long stays comfortable.
Every pad is level and easy to pull into. No tilting, no shims needed — just drive in and settle.
Your pets are welcome here. Fenced areas and open space for walks in the countryside.

We're located at 499 SE Highway U in Clinton, Missouri — just off the main road but tucked away enough to feel like the middle of nowhere. Clinton is a great basecamp for exploring the Lake of the Ozarks, Lake Clinton, and the rolling hills of north-central Missouri.
